@R62 Langklip Estate is situated on a guest farm, up in the mountains, in the scenic Kouga Wilderness area and offers comfortable safari accommodation along with a variety of activities for guests’ to enjoy. Langklip Estate offers game viewing and the opportunity to bottle feed the tame and friendly animals on the estate. There is a 3.8 km gravel road leading up to the estate, it is not necessary to have a 4×4 vehicle but we do not recommend vehicles with lowered suspension.
The units are situated in the heart of wildlife, creating the ideal safari atmosphere. Each unit comprises a bathroom and is equipped with a gas geyser and solar lighting no Eskom power.
Langklip Estate offers anything ranging from laid-back activities to the extreme, for those seeking a little adventure. Activities include paintball, horses riding, quad biking, abseiling, rock climbing, and guided tours. Guests can even visit game such as Oryx, Eland, and Springbok who eat out of your hand.
This beautiful bushveld area is the showcase of inhabitant and tame game, rocky cliffs, Fynbos mountains, succulents, vet plants, and fruit valleys. This tranquil, yet exciting bushveld area is an ideal activity and touring ground for guests.
The guest house is situated in the heart of Joubertina, a small Eastern Cape town with a nostalgic and warm atmosphere. Le Bocage offers wide open spaces, views of the surrounding mountains, wide verandas and old wooden floors.
At Le Bocage accommodation is provided in 5 individually decorated rooms and 2 separate units. The en-suite rooms are set in an old farmhouse. The rooms are equipped with either double, three-quarter or single beds. Each room contains a TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities and complimentary toiletries. There is 1 self-catering unit that can accommodate up to 2 people.
A hearty, farm-style breakfast is served every morning and dinner can be arranged with 24-hour notice.
Baviaanskloof Lodge – Country House is situated in Cambrai, just 2 km from the wilderness area that covers over 30 000 hectares, and stretches from Komdomo to Nuwekloof Pass near Willowmore in the West, in the heart of Baviaanskloof.
The lodge offers guests a choice of 4 lovely rooms, or 4 eco-recreational camping sites. The en-suite rooms are comfortably furnished to accommodate between 2 to 3 people, and they are equipped with comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton linen and tea and coffee facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can relax in the communal lounge with a TV with DStv, and dinner, bed and breakfast is available and will be served in the the communal dining area. Guests can relax in the lovely garden, and braai facilities are available for use.
The shaded campsites can each accommodate a group of 6 people, and share the use of a communal ablution facility with cold-water showers and flush toilets. Guests please need to bring their own camping equipment and tents.
Exclusive day and sundown tours are available for guests, with prior arrangement. The area hosts a variety of animal and bird species which include the magnificent Knysna Loerie. The Cambria area offers excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation activities such as hiking mountain biking, bird watching game viewing, nature walks and 4×4 trails.
The route between Cambria and Grasnek Pass boasts the best views. Baviaanskloof Lodge can be reached with a sedan, but to visit the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve (entrance only 2 km from the lodge), guests will need a high-clearance 4×4 and 2×4 vehicle.
